Great Company
We are very pleased with the professionalism, responsiveness and fine service provided us by Cook at our regular maintenance appointment. He was attentive and listened to our concerns about the air quality of our home and answered all our questions.
He provided us practical and affordable options to make our house a healthier place. He was punctual and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Air Rescue.
We have been satisfied Air Rescue customers for 17 years. Cook is an outstanding consultant.
Relentless
Air rescue representatives are relentless. I inquired on home advisor for a good company to replace air conditioning system and Air Rescue immediately started calling every day even after I told them no.
Poor service
called Sun nite at 10pm when air went out. Was told someone
would be out Mon nite between 11pm and 3am. Nobody
ever showed and after 12p their phone says "don't hang up,
we are open and someone will be with you shortly". Called 15
times between 1am and 3am and nobody ever answered the phone
or returned my call after it allowed me to leave a msg.
I pay them every month to be a member of their service and this
is the kind of treatment. I have a disabled husband that the heat
has been very very hard on for the last 29 hours and they said
they would put me on the emergency list. Obviously I'm on the
Do Not Service List since they have never showed up.
- Gave me a scheduled time and never showed up

Untrustworthy
They told my mother she needed new air ducts and charged her $1200 when her air ducts were fine. Then, two months after she bought a new unit from them it broke in the middle of the summer.
When she called them to come fix it they said they wouldn’t be able to make it there for two days.
It’s really upsetting when your mother calls you crying because she was treated with horrible customer service and is now living in discomfort because of it. Take my advice, find somebody else.
Warning! This company takes advantage of old ladies!
My friend, an 80+ year old widow’s AC went out. She called Air Rescue, and they charged $400 to change the thermostat.
(We just paid a lot less for the same thing thru another company.). In addition, they insisted that her inside unit needed to be cleaned for $800. He was very persistent, but she said she couldn’t afford it. (True.) I would be very wary in using Air Rescue!
What?

Be aware of over priced repairs
Air Rescue was called to look at my AC. I had already checked the unit and found that the blower motor was not working, the Tech.
confirmed that it was bad. Long story short for them to install the new motor they quoted me over 1,330 dollars. The girl at the office could not tell me the price of the motor, where their warehouse is or how much they charged for labor. I got another reputable company to do the job for 350 dollars including parts and labor.
$1000 savings for a couple of phone calls.
I hope that not all service companies are like this, trying to take advantage of people. People be ware,a couple of phone calls can save you a lot of money.
NO SHOW FOR PROMO TUNE UP, but will reschedule for more $$$!
Scheduling sucks. Girl on phone is very unprofessional.
We asked for service manager and spoke with another girl that made no more to say, so we canceled all together. We're home now for appointment that was confirmed. Bad first look and we don't ever want them out or to call us again.
No soliciting here or you'll wish you didn't. I'm pissed.
High Pressure Sales...Low performance repairs!
My central air system stopped cooling yesterday morning. I callled Air Rescue because they were recommended by the previous homeowner and I had used them in the past.
They ALWAYS try to upsell, were pricey but did fix my system after trying to push a new system on me. A few hours after the call a pleasent young man came to the house ,spent 10 minutes evaluating my problem and proceeded to telll me that the low voltage wiring to the compressor needed replacing because the unit was getting no signal from the thermostat. He told me that the whole system was old and needed to be replaced so thre was no real point to running the wires since the unit is weak and would soon fail anyway. I told him most of the major components had been replaced and I just wanted to fix what was wrong NOW.
Having been an automotive technician and trade school teacher fo 40 years, I was not impressed by the diognosis or the conclusion he arrived at. He made a show of calling his supervisor and pricing out a new A/C system. They arrived ata price of around$6900.00 and told me they could have the system delivered and installed tomorrow! They offered financing and 10 year warranties and a million reasons why my current system needed to be replaced.Very high pressure, track sales. I spent 20 minutes explaining there was no way I' d spend the kind of money they were asking for .I told them I had spent my whole career fixing things and to just fix the exsisting problem or I'd pay them for their time and get somebody else who could.
They then told me they'd require $1100. to run the new wires, which may or may not fix "the complete" problem . Again,I said no...I'll pay you for your time. At that point ,the technician said he could "try something" and went about splicing new wires for about a half hour.
He then said no luck,he'd done everything possible and I'd need to have an"installation team " come out to run new wires. I said no,I'd get another opinion. He asked why would'nt I commit to the repair? He even asked if it was because I "didn't trust" his diognosis. He then put his supervisor on the phone and they engaged in more high pressure sales and lowered the price on the wiring repair to "only" $860.
At that point I told them I'd think about it and call them if I needed to. Cost for the DIOGNOSTIC visit:$59.00 and massive heartburn. I then spoke to my son in law whose father is a builder. He recommended a local service (JAMIE'S A/C Co.) and I called them.
They came out this morning...very pleasant ,knowledgeable young man listened to my concerns and story ....spent 20 minutes doing ACTUAL tests with a digital voltmeter and pressure guages and then jumped the thermostat power source to another voltage source that was not really used by the system. Cleaned my compressor coil and connections and added some refigerant too.. Total time for the repair...around 1 hour. Bottom line...$150.00 AND my A/C is running colder than it ever has!
No new wire needed...this tech FIXED the problem because he UNDERSTOOD the system and was paid by the hour and not on commission! Make your own choice...I'll never use AIR RESCUE for anything again except as a cautionary tale!
Air Rescue CANNOT BE TRUSTED
Last year I called Air Rescue for summer service on my Train unit that was less then 2 years old, working perfectly. I should have never left the technician alone outside.
He said the coolant gas was low and he will have to fill it. He handed me a bill for $500, I flipped, he talked me into the service plan which was less then the cost of the gas. I decided I will never call them back to the house. Yesterday I did a summer service with a trusted company because of lower cooling issue, the technician found a 6" piece of copper pipe laying across the high pressure copper coolant line at the bottom of the compressor outside.
The copper pipe caused corrosion on the high pressure line causing it to fail and leak out coolant. The technician said the copper pipe was perfectly placed and covered with leaves.
This was sabotage by Air Rescue. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

BEWARE AIR RESCUE CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Signed up for $14.95 Club Membership. Saved me some money on my original service call.
Membership provides 2 free check ups every 6 months. BEWARE, they will find something you need (or don't need) at these check ups. Technician came out for June service call, said I had DANGEROUS mold in my unit and need a $900 UV system. Also needed to replace my filter, which is a special order filter but was going to charge me $132 - I obviously called another air conditioning company for a second opinion.
There was NO MOLD! I could go with the UV system to prevent mold but this technician did not recommend it. He also replaced that special order filter for $47.00! BEWARE of this company!
Although it is very convenient to have 24 hour service available, especially here in Florida, but they will GET YOU for that convenience in the end. BEWARE!

Always selling you something
Issue 1: Every time that they come to my home, they try to sell me something. Last year, their representative came out and told us that we needed to add Freon.
We paid him to add it but he did something wrong and the next day my compressor stopped working. Fortunately, I had a warranty on the unit. I had to fight with Air Rescue for them to contact the people that I had the warranty with, but they did eventually fix it. Issue 2: They get paid every month due to the contract that I have with them and this time they didn't even call to schedule my maintenance appointment like they should.
If I had not been alert, they would have just taken my money without doing any maintenance. When I informed them, the person told me that they have over 2,000 customer as if that was supposed to give me some kind of comfort. My appointment was scheduled and they did not come when they said. I had to call them and they gave me some excuse and that someone would come shortly.
Two hours after the scheduled appointment is when someone came. Guess what?
They tried to sell me a new unit. Advise: Be watchful of them!
Horrible Service
Used to be a good company, not sure if under new management. Air rescue has recently shown to be 1.dishonest 2.AC technical support and maintenance uneducated.
3.Poor management service etc. Service & response time have been horrible. Called on July the 10th twice, left a message and spoke to someone. Called 5 more times asking to speak to a supervisor or manager.
Kept getting the same excuses, out of the office, in meetings etc. As of today July the 13th Never received a returned call.
If they send a tech to your home make sure they are certified, I believe most of them are not and are clueless. I finally got Fed up & terminated my maintenance contract and hired a new company.
So bad, I have no idea how to title it.
Central AC Unit. Multiple issues with installation and service.
In Mid 2015, I had Air Rescue replace an existing central air unit that went bad. The approximate cost was between $7k and $10k. Literally from the week the unit was installed until now (1/13/17), Air Rescue has had to visit my home no less than 5-10 to diagnose and fix an issue with the unit "not blowing cold". In varying instances they either refilled the freon, but did not check for leaks, charged me for a dye injection, then never found the leak, only to return to look for it again (because the unit was blowing warm still).
This continued several times over. Finally, one of their techs found the issue - how the others missed it is beyond my comprehension, and fixed a leak. He stated, "that was easy". No more than 4 weeks ago, they came out because the inspection to sell my home found the compressor and air handler freezing up.
The tech refilled the canister with freon. Given canisters are rarely refilled over a 1.5 year period, and Air Rescue has had to refill it many times, you would think that when the tech came out this last time, he would have know this - from reviewing previous records, and brought this to the attention of management who could have researched the problem further. Please note that will all these issues over a 1.5 year period NO ONE in management has ever contacted to attempt to fix the problem. I've had to call them.
With my latest issue, I have called their location and asked for the owner. The response was "the owner doesn't take calls".
I have informed Air Rescue that if this problem damages my ability to close the sale of my home, 17 days now, I will do everything in my power to insure I get satisfaction in some way. I suggest they expedite the fix.

Air Rescue takes advantage of people. They are doing it to me now. I wasn’t smart enough to call around.
